Scientific objectives
Provide a Line-Of-Sight (LOS) L Band TM/TC tracking system for Long Duration Stratospheric Balloon Campaigns from the ground to the float altitude ( + - 38 kilometers) during the climb-out and first few days (600 kilometers) of flight.

This station is interesting because of its management modes that enable the tracking of the balloon in one of the following modes:
  • Manual: from a joystick,
  • Automatic: from a GPS positioning information transmitted by the balloon
