Fabry-Perot Interferometer (KOPRI)
Scientific objectives
The Fabry-Perot Interferometer (FPI) is designed to observe atmospheric airglow emissions in the mesosphere and thermosphere. It is primarily used to derive neutral wind velocities and temperature profiles from specific emission lines, contributing to the understanding of upper atmospheric dynamics in polar regions.
