Looks like the bug is clever enough to avoid the automatic shutter protector lid that comes on at solar elevation -10 degrees. It also sits without moving all night according to the Keogram. Amazing animal!

Mirjam Kellinsalmi from FMI reports that a similar event did occur in Muonio in the autumn of 2021. The fly like to sit on the camera, since it is probably a nice warm place to visit. 😄
